Jump On In!

The water is?

Well, you just don’t know until you jump in.

“There’s nothing wrong with enjoying looking at the surface of the ocean itself, except that when you finally see what goes on underwater, you realize that you’ve been missing the whole point of the ocean. Staying on the surface all the time is like going to the circus and staring at the outside of the tent.”
— Dave Barry, Writer

Our lives are like the ocean. Most of us never find out what’s below. Jump on in.

Children

Over the years I have held the space for people who want to find out what’s below their surface. I have also found that most of who they are is contained in a powerful generator waiting to be released. The biggest block to releasing our potential is fear.

I have helped many people start their journey of confronting their fears by learning to distinguish the difference between reasonable and unreasonable fears and changing their relationship to the fears that hold them back.

I have found that when people become aware of and have an opportunity to talk about their fears, real growth begins to happen. They are then inspired to dream big.

My CauseSupporting Others On Their Journey

I teach people how to communicate effectively and powerfully to achieve what they want. My gift is to hold space for people who sincerely want to deal with issues that they are afraid to address and help them live a life that is more meaningful and joyous. I also help and encourage people to have fun on the journey of life!

Amy and Dallas
"I’ve known Dallas since birth as he was one of my fathers closest college buddies. Little did I know when I was a child the huge role he would play in my life. Dallas has been by my side through the early loss of my father, a divorce, a near fatal elevator accident, and the rebuilding of everything time and time again… some through all the tragedy he has created a safe place for me to reflect and even celebrate life! Life is challenging but Dallas has helped me see the love and fun even in the darkest days.

I now live between 3 continents with my French Husband and 2 kids. I don’t have a chance to see Dallas as much as I’d like. But I know that wherever I am he has my back and with that I know everything will be ok.

Dallas’ insight, humor, honesty, twinkle of the eye and his sly Happy birthday toasts even when it’s not my birthday… make me smile and remember all is life is possible." - Amy

"What a joyous experience to interact with such an amazing conversationalist, mentor and friend! Dallas gave me what no one else would when I was going through an extremely difficult time and that was clarity. I was floundering and almost bottoming out. I should have been looking for meaning in my experience and Dallas gave me that. He doesn’t preach or even guide. Dallas makes you look closely at being present and being your best self, however hard that may be when life is throwing darts at you. I did hear his words and was willing to be changed by what I heard. I walked away from the conversation that day feeling like all my troubles had been blown away. I felt in control of me again and ready to begin the next chapter in this fantastic journey that we call living. I had found my house of belonging. Without Dallas, I don’t think I would have acted so quickly or with such strength and purpose. Thank you for being so incredibly inspirational, intuitive and authentic. We are all so lucky to know this man that we call our friend, Dallas!!!" - Susie

"Dallas has made such a big impact in my life I named my son after him, need I say more!!" - Sheri and Dal

"Bottom line is this … without Dallas listening ear and open heart, I would not be the person I am today. He stepped up and guided me through some truly life changing situations." - Carrie

Paul and Dallas

"At the 2014 Sun Valley Wellness Festival, I met an impressive gentleman named Dallas Reid Hall who gave a stunning talk on "True Love is Not for Cowards." In my humble experience, many speakers/teachers/gurus/mentors of today pontificate in theoretical, flowery, poetic language not grounded in deep, personal experiences OR a successful life well-lived. This is not the case with Dallas. That is what makes him so valuable and unique. (Based on my own business and personal successes in life, I know the real deal when I see it. Dallas is the real deal.) In his Sun Valley talk, Dallas gave 10 simple, practical, easy-to-understand principles for succeeding in life. It was refreshing--and obvious--that his principles were based on successful, personal experiences from his own life!! His 10 principles were:

  1. Honor how someone feels.
  2. But, if someone tries pushing past your boundaries, say: "I know that's important to you. NEVERTHELESS, I'm not going to do that (or I'll have to pass)."
  3. In a business situation, take care of yourself.
  4. Thus, it's important to learn how to fight.
  5. This is your life. This is your party. Take care of yourself. I can't live my life to please you.
  6. If your feelings are conflicted, go with your gut and just say "no" to a request. Don't compromise if it doesn't feel right.
  7. Be honest.
  8. Both give and receive.
  9. Discern, but don't judge.
  10. Be accountable and take responsibility.

These 10 elegant and simple principles are practical and realistic, not a bunch of "feel-good foo-foo." The principles are based on his successful personal experiences from a life well-lived. Dallas loves sharing what he has learned about navigating through life. So, don't hesitate to grab him as a mentor if you have the chance. I wish I had known Dallas when I was a younger man. He would have greatly accelerated my personal growth. " - Paul

Mentorship: How to Start

Agreements

I won’t accept just anyone for my mentorship program. We both have to feel that working with each other has got to feel good.
  • That doesn’t mean that my mentees won’t feel vulnerable but on some level it has to feel like the right thing to do.
  • A person must be willing to face his or her fears.
  • There are reasonable fears and unreasonable fears. I can help most people learn to tell the difference and not let the unreasonable fears stop you from becoming who you are and what you want from life.

Meeting

We will spend two-one hour sessions together and if we don’t feel that it’s worth continuing we won’t continue but I believe with all my heart that your life will change.
  • It takes courage to take on the challenge of finding out who you really are.
  • It takes guts to open up your heart but not get slaughtered from it. I can teach you that.
  • I can hold the space for you to go to your dark side. There is a lot of gold in your dark side if you risk it.
Most unreasonable fears aren’t the dragons that we imagine but more like mice.

Investment

Before We Start I Will Need People To Be Willing To Invest In Our Relationship. In Some Way They Have To Have Some Skin In The Game. These First Two Meetings Will Require An Investment, (I will consider a sliding scale).
  • You can do this!
  • Let’s Go!
